     William St. George Nugent, 10th Earl of Westmeath was born on 28 November 1832.3 He was the son of Anthony Francis Nugent, 9th Earl of Westmeath and Anne Catherine Daly.3 He married Emily Margaret Blake, daughter of Andrew William Blake and Maria Julia Daly, on 24 July 1866.1 He died on 31 May 1883 at age 50.1
     He was educated at Oscott College, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, EnglandG.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Foot.3 He fought in the Crimean War.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1875.3 He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Westmeath [I., 1621] on 12 May 1879.3 He succeeded as the 15th Baron Delvin [I., 1451] on 12 May 1879.3

     Edmond Blake was born in 1803.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Blake and Maria Galway.1 He married Anne St. George, daughter of Christopher St. George, on 24 November 1870.1 He died in 1895.1
     He held the office of Mayor of Galway between 1836 and 1841, the last.1

John Henry Blake1

     John Henry Blake was born circa 1808.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Blake and Maria Galway.1 He married Harriette Frances Lynch, daughter of Francis James Lynch and Harriett Blake, on 27 January 1874 at St. Andrew's Church, Westlannd Row, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1,2 He died on 29 June 1882 at Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland, shot dead along with his driver, Thady Ruane, while on their way to Mass. His wife was also in the carriage but uninjured. No one was ever prosecuted for teh two murders.1,2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was land agent for Hubert de Burgh-Canning, 2nd Marquis Clanricarde (probably the most hated absentee landlord in Aireland.)2 He lived at Rathville, County Galway, IrelandG.1
