Robert Delacour Beamish was born on 16 July 1791.1 He was the son of William Beamish and Anne Jane Margaret Delacour.1 He married Maria Anne Macdonald, daughter of Lt.-Col. Archibald Macdonald, in 1829.1 He died on 27 May 1877 at age 85.1
