     Catherine Julia Fougère was the daughter of James Fougère.1 She married, firstly, Lieutenant William Henry Slingsby Beamish, son of Captain Samuel George Beamish and Hannah Slingsby, on 27 April 1868.1 She married, secondly, Albert William Robert Palmer in 1900.2
     From 27 April 1868, her married name became Beamish.1 From 1900, her married name became Palmer.2 She lived in 1910 at Chatham Islands, New Zealand.2
