     Benjamin Barton was born in 1833.1 He was the son of William Barton and Catherine Hughes.1 He married Anne Bowers, daughter of Edward Bowers and Penelope Deacon, in 1854.1 He died on 10 May 1888.1
     Benjamin Barton was educated at Kilkenny College, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1 He lived at Ballyline House, Callan, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1

     Thomas Barton emigrated to Australia arriving circa 1854.1 He lived at Havelock, (near Maryborough), Victoria, Australia.1
