     Samuel Henry Barton was born in 1817.1 He was the son of William Barton and Catherine Perry.1 He married Mary Elizabeth Frobisher, daughter of Major Thomas Frobisher, in December 1862.1 He died on 27 October 1891.1
     Samuel Henry Barton was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Grove House, Fethard, County Tipperary, Ireland.1

     Mary Elizabeth Frobisher was the daughter of Major Thomas Frobisher.1 She married Samuel Henry Barton, son of William Barton and Catherine Perry, in December 1862.1
     From December 1862, her married name became Barton.1

     Captain Charles Robert Barton was born on 4 March 1877.1 He was the son of Samuel Henry Barton and Mary Elizabeth Frobisher.1 He married Ethel Mary Cobden, daughter of Captain George E. Cobden, on 15 October 1904 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 8 December 1955 at age 78.1
     Captain Charles Robert Barton fought in the Boer War.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Irish Regiment, he was formerly with the Imperial Yeoman and 3rd Paget's Horse.1 He lived at Grove House, Fethard, County Tipperary, Ireland, (after his death the Grove House passed to the Ponsonbys).1

     Ethel Mary Cobden was the daughter of Captain George E. Cobden.1 She married Captain Charles Robert Barton, son of Samuel Henry Barton and Mary Elizabeth Frobisher, on 15 October 1904 in a childless marriage.1 She died on 15 May 1935.1
     From 15 October 1904, her married name became Barton.1

     William Hugh Barton gained the rank of Major in the service of the 76th Regiment of Foot.2
