     Colonel Baptist Johnston Barton was born on 15 July 1848.1 He was the son of Baptist Johnston Barton and Maria MacLaughlin.1 He married Isabel McClintock, daughter of Robert McClintock, on 29 July 1875.1 He died on 9 November 1914 at age 66.1
