     Mary White was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John White.1 She married Lieutenant Pierse Barron-Newell, son of William Winston Barron and Mary Frances St. John Newell, on 6 June 1867.1 She died on 10 September 1924.1
     From 6 June 1867, her married name became Barron-Newell.1

     T/Lt. Edward Alphonse Winston Barron-Newell was born on 25 October 1876.1 He was the son of Lieutenant Pierse Barron-Newell and Mary White.1 He died on 15 February 1939 at age 62, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He lived in 1900 at Woodstown, County Waterford, IrelandG, which he inhierited from his cousin Sir Henry Page-Turner Barron, 2nd Baronet.1 He fought in the First World War, as a Temporary Lieutenant with the 12th Lancers.1 He was attached to Headquarters, 5th Cavalry Brigade between 1916 and 1919.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Kinghill, County Down, IrelandG.1 He lived at 7 Lyall Street, London, EnglandG.1
