     Ambrose Barcroft was baptised on 20 September 1574.1 He was the son of Thomas Barcroft and Isabel Carr.1 He married Mary Hartley, daughter of unknown Hartley.1 He died in 1648.1 His will (dated 30 September 1641) was probated on 9 May 1668 at Chester, Cheshire, England.1
     Ambrose Barcroft lived at The Haigh Hall, Aspull, Lancashire, England.1 He lived at Noyna, Colne, Lancashire, England.1 He lived at Foulridge Hall, Colne, Lancashire, England.1
