     Major Henry Thomas George Fitzgerald was born on 5 March 1820.1 He was the son of Colonel Thomas George Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Crowther.2 He married Elizabeth Harriott Yates, daughter of Reverend Samuel Wildman Yates, on 23 May 1839.1 He died in May 1890 at age 70.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 1st Life Guards.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 1st West Yorkshire Rifles.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Maperton House, Somerset, EnglandG.3
