     Alfred Ernest Albert Fremantle was born on 26 September 1884.¹ He was the son of Admiral Hon. Sir Edmund Robert Fremantle and Barberina Rogers Isaacs.¹ He married Gladys Hamilton on 19 February 1908.¹ He died on 15 March 1955 at age 70.¹
     Alfred Ernest Albert Fremantle was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was decorated with the award of Order of the Redeemer of Greece.¹ He was Senior Master of Modern Languages between 1923 and 1927 at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹
