     Jane Hardie Walker was the daughter of Major James Walker.1 She married Thomas Andrews, son of Thomas John Andrews and Elizabeth R. Stevenson, on 18 September 1842.1 She died on 29 November 1899.1
     From 18 September 1842, her married name became Andrews.1

     Lt.-Col. James Walker Andrews was born on 18 December 1845.1 He was the son of Thomas Andrews and Jane Hardie Walker.1 He married Emily Allfrey, daughter of Frederick William Allfrey, on 21 June 1877.1 He died on 21 March 1926 at age 80.1
     Lt.-Col. James Walker Andrews was educated at Belfast Academy, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.1 He was commissioned in 1868.1 He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1880, as the Brigrade Major.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Devonshire Regiment.1 He retired from the military in 1891.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Bantony, Robertsbridge, Sussex, England.1

     Emily Allfrey was the daughter of Frederick William Allfrey.1 She married Lt.-Col. James Walker Andrews, son of Thomas Andrews and Jane Hardie Walker, on 21 June 1877.1 She died on 19 February 1944.1
     From 21 June 1877, her married name became Andrews.1

     Captain James Allfrey Andrews was born on 20 April 1890.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Walker Andrews and Emily Allfrey.1 He died on 1 July 1916 at age 26 while leading an attack as second in command on Ovillers-la-Boiselle, Somme, France, killed in action, unmarried.1 He was buried at Serre Road Cemetery No. 2, Somme, France.2
     Captain James Allfrey Andrews gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 2nd Battalion, Devonshire Regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of the Somme on 1 July 1916 at Ovillers-la-Boiselle, Somme, France.1
