     Hon. Sir Frank Trevor Roger Bigham was born on 22 May 1876.2 He was the son of John Charles Bigham, 1st Viscount Mersey and Georgina Sarah Rogers.3 He married Frances Leonora Tomlin, daughter of John Leonard Tomlin, on 17 December 1901.2 He married Edith Ellen Drysdale, daughter of Lt.-Col. David Drysdale, on 2 September 1931.2 He died on 23 November 1954 at age 78.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1901 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was Chief Constable of the Metropolitan Police between 1909 and 1914.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.2 He was Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police between 1914 and 1931.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1929.2 He was Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police between 1931 and 1934.2
