     John Eglinton Montgomerie was born in 1878.¹ He was the son of Alexander Montgomerie and Elizabeth Wright.² He married, firstly, Edith Lilian Young, daughter of Hon. George Young, in 1910.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah Mitchell in December 1928.³ He died in June 1930.³
     He fought in the Boer War.³ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the New Zealand Forces.¹

     Hon. George Young held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Victoria].¹

     Edith Lilian Young was the daughter of Hon. George Young.² She married John Eglinton Montgomerie, son of Alexander Montgomerie and Elizabeth Wright, in 1910.¹ She died on 24 May 1921.¹

      From 26 June 1940, her married name became Triggs. She lived in 2003 at 5–89a Royal Road, Massey, Auckland, New Zealand.¹

     Francis William Triggs lived at Napier, New Zealand.¹

     Francis Churtain Triggs was the son of Francis William Triggs.² He married Sheila Elizabeth Montgomerie, daughter of John Eglinton Montgomerie and Edith Lilian Young, on 26 June 1940.¹ He died in 1977.¹

     Michael Francis Triggs was born on 28 July 1942.¹ He is the son of Francis Churtain Triggs and Sheila Elizabeth Montgomerie.² He married Susan Marlene Todd, daughter of James Lincoln Todd, in 1972.¹

     James Lincoln Todd married Mary Shirley Anderson in 1949 at New Zealand.²
     He lived at Auckland, New Zealand.¹

     Susan Marlene Todd is the daughter of James Lincoln Todd.² She married Michael Francis Triggs, son of Francis Churtain Triggs and Sheila Elizabeth Montgomerie, in 1972.¹
      From 1972, her married name became Triggs.
