     John Dalrymple, 5th Earl of Stair was the son of Hon. George Dalrymple and Euphame Myrton. He died in 1789.

     General William Dalrymple was the son of Hon. George Dalrymple and Euphame Myrton. He married Marianne Dorothy Harland, daughter of Admiral Sir Robert Harland, 1st Bt., on 13 September 1783. He died on 23 February 1807.

     Marianne Dorothy Harland was the daughter of Admiral Sir Robert Harland, 1st Bt. She married General William Dalrymple, son of Hon. George Dalrymple and Euphame Myrton, on 13 September 1783. She died on 28 October 1785.
     Her married name became Dalrymple.

     Admiral Sir Robert Harland, 1st Bt. was born in 1715.1 He married Susanna Reynold, daughter of Colonel Rowland Reynold and Mary Ann Duncombe, on 12 October 1749 at St. George's Chapel, Mayfair, London, England. He died on 21 February 1784 at Sproughton, Suffolk, England.1
     Admiral Sir Robert Harland, 1st Bt. gained the title of 1st Baronet Harland.

     John William Henry Dalrymple, 7th Earl of Stair was born on 16 November 1784. He was the son of General William Dalrymple and Marianne Dorothy Harland. He married, firstly, Johanna Gordon, daughter of Charles Gordon, on 28 May 1804. He married, secondly, Lady Laura Manners, daughter of John Manners and Louisa Tollemache, Countess of Dysart, on 2 June 1808.1 He and Johanna Gordon were divorced in 1809. He and Lady Laura Manners were divorced on 16 July 1811.1 He died on 22 March 1840 at age 55 at Paris, France.
     John William Henry Dalrymple, 7th Earl of Stair gained the title of 7th Earl of Stair. His marriage to Johanna Gordon was annulled in June 1820.

     Johanna Gordon was the daughter of Charles Gordon. She married John William Henry Dalrymple, 7th Earl of Stair, son of General William Dalrymple and Marianne Dorothy Harland, on 28 May 1804. She and John William Henry Dalrymple, 7th Earl of Stair were divorced in 1809.
     Her married name became Dalrymple. Her marriage to John William Henry Dalrymple, 7th Earl of Stair was annulled in June 1820.
