     Harriet Lucia Alexander was born in October 1849 at Milford House, Milford, County Carlow, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of John Alexander and Esther Brinkley.1 She married Lt.-Col. Edward George Moore Donnithorne, son of Edward Harris Donnithorne and Elizabeth Jane Moore, on 8 July 1875 at Cloydag Church, Milford, County Carlow, Ireland.1,2 She died on 11 May 1936 at age 86 at IJCH Hospital, Gower Street, London, England.2
     From 8 July 1875, her married name became Donnithorne.1
