     James Grierson was born circa 1729.1 He was the son of John Grierson and Elizabeth Anne Higgins.1 He married Mary Ann Tonge in 1762 at St. Bride's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He died on 27 September 1777.1

     Mathew Fox was born in 1745 at County Westmeath, Ireland.3 He was the son of James Fox and Millicent Palin.2 He married Elizabeth Grierson, daughter of John Grierson and Elizabeth Anne Higgins.1 He died on 15 May 1808,.1
     Mathew Fox resigned as at Foxbrook, County Meath, Ireland.4
