     Winifred Elizabeth Charlotte Alexander was born on 10 January 1891.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry George Samuel Alexander and Elizabeth Collie Phoebe Webb.1 She married, firstly, Lieutenant James Matthew Stronge, son of Rt. Hon. Sir James Henry Stronge, 5th Bt., on 10 July 1917, without issue.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Clarence Ivor Alistair Dubs, son of Charles Ralph Dubs, on 5 January 1920, without issue.1
     From 10 July 1917, her married name became Stronge.1 From 5 January 1920, her married name became Dubs.1

     Lieutenant James Matthew Stronge was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir James Henry Stronge, 5th Bt.1 He married Winifred Elizabeth Charlotte Alexander, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry George Samuel Alexander and Elizabeth Collie Phoebe Webb, on 10 July 1917, without issue.1 He died in August 1917, killed in action.1
     Lieutenant James Matthew Stronge gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1
