     Lady Irmengarde Moreton was born in 1879.1 She was the daughter of Berkeley Basil Moreton, 4th Earl of Ducie and Emily Eleanor Kent.1 She married Reverend John Reginald Stotten, son of John Stotten, in 1924.1 She died on 13 April 1977, without issue.1
     From 1924, her married name became Stotten.1

     Alison Bates was the daughter of Leslie Aitken Bates.1 She married Basil Howard Moreton, 6th Earl of Ducie, son of Hon. Algernon Howard Moreton and Dorothy Edith Annie Bell, on 15 April 1950.1 She died in June 2000.1
     From 15 April 1950, her married name became Moreton.1 As a result of her marriage, Alison Bates was styled as Countess of Ducie on 17 June 1952.
