     Creagh Ivor Massy was born on 19 April 1877.1 He was the son of William Ludgate Massy and Annie Loney Maye.1 He married Mary Summers Drew, daughter of Edward John Drew, on 22 April 1920.1 He died on 8 March 1970 at age 92, without issue.1
     Creagh Ivor Massy was educated at Inverness College, Inverness, Inverness-shire, Scotland.1 He was educated at University College, Bangor, Caernarvonshire, Wales.1 He fought in the First World War, in the Somme, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the British Army.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.1
