     Fiennes Wykeham-Martin was born on 12 January 1769.1 He was the son of Reverend Richard Wykeham and Mary Fox.2 He married Elizabeth Bignell, daughter of Richard Bignell.1 He died on 14 September 1840 at age 71 at Leeds Castle, Kent, England.1,3
     He was given the name of Fiennes Wykeham at birth.1 He inherited Leeds Castle from his kinsman General Martin.1 On 18 October 1821 his name was legally changed to Fiennes Wykeham-Martin by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Kent in 1824.1 He lived at Leeds Castle, Maidstone, Kent, EnglandG.1 At Chacombe Priory, Banbury, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, (an unknown value.)1 He had six younger sons and five other daughters.1

     Her married name became Wykeham-Martin.
