     Commander Dermot Chenevix Coote was born on 30 April 1915.1 He was the son of Charles Chenevix Coote and Alice Maud Crozier.2 He married Dorothy Oliver, daughter of Richard Oliver, on 3 March 1945.1 He died on 20 December 2005 at age 90.3
     Commander Dermot Chenevix Coote also went by the nick-name of Jerry.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He lived in 2003 at 21 Carlton Court, Wells, Somerset, EnglandG.1

     Dorothy Oliver was the daughter of Richard Oliver.2 She married Commander Dermot Chenevix Coote, son of Charles Chenevix Coote and Alice Maud Crozier, on 3 March 1945.1 She died on 18 May 1999.1
     She gained the rank of 2nd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.1 From 3 March 1945, her married name became Coote.1
