Reverend Nathaniel Castleton Stephen Poyntz was born on 9 October 1846.1 He was the son of Commander Newdigate Poyntz and Alice Brinn.2,1 He married Helen Willis Minor, daughter of Dr. James Monroe Minor, on 28 December 1882.1
