     Sir Francis Poyntz was the son of Sir Robert Poyntz and Margaret Woodville.2 He married Joan Browne, daughter of Sir Matthew Browne.1 He died on 26 June 1528, without issue.1
     Sir Francis Poyntz held the office of Esquire of the Body to King Henry VIII.1
