     James Primrose, 2nd Earl of Rosebery was born in 1690. He was the son of Archibald Primrose, 1st Earl of Rosebery and Dorothea Cressy. He married Mary Campbell. He died in 1755.
     James Primrose, 2nd Earl of Rosebery gained the title of 2nd Earl of Rosebery.
