     John Howard Parnell was born in 1843.¹ He was the son of John Henry Parnell and Delia Tudor Stewart.² He married Olivia Isabella Smythe, daughter of Colonel James Smythe, on 13 June 1907.¹ He died on 3 May 1923.¹
     He held the office of Dublin City Marshal.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Meath between 1895 and 1900.¹ He lived at Lion House, Glenegeary, Kingstown, County Dublin, Ireland.³ He lived at Laragh Castle, Glendalough, County Wicklow, Ireland.³ He lived at Avondale, County Wicklow, Ireland.¹

     Colonel James Smythe gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 69th Regiment.¹

     Olivia Isabella Smythe is the daughter of Colonel James Smythe.² She married, firstly, Archibald Mateer before 1907.¹ She married, secondly, John Howard Parnell, son of John Henry Parnell and Delia Tudor Stewart, on 13 June 1907.¹
      From before 1907, her married name became Mateer.¹ From 13 June 1907, her married name became Parnell.

     Charles Stewart Parnell was born in June 1846.¹ He was the son of John Henry Parnell and Delia Tudor Stewart.³ He married Katharine Wood, daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell, on 2 July 1891.⁴ He died on 6 October 1891 at age 45, without issue.¹
     He was "the uncrowned king of Ireland."⁵ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1874.¹ He was leader of the Irish Parliamentary Party in 1874.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Meath between 1875 and 1880.¹ He was president of the Land League in 1879.¹ He held the office of Leader, Home Rule Party.⁵ He held the office of President, National Land League, until he was successfully cited as the co-respondent in a divorce suit.⁵ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cork between 1880 and 1891.¹ He lived at Avondale, County Wicklow, Ireland.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wicklow.¹ He was a celebrated Irish Nationalist.¹
