     Charles Stewart Parnell was born in June 1846.1 He was the son of John Henry Parnell and Delia Tudor Stewart.3 He married Katharine Wood, daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell, on 2 July 1891.4 He died on 6 October 1891 at age 45, without issue.1
     He was "the uncrowned king of Ireland."5 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1874.1 He was leader of the Irish Parliamentary Party in 1874.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Meath between 1875 and 1880.1 He was president of the Land League in 1879.1 He held the office of Leader, Home Rule Party.5 He held the office of President, National Land League, until he was successfully cited as the co-respondent in a divorce suit.5 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cork between 1880 and 1891.1 He lived at Avondale, County Wicklow, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wicklow.1 He was a celebrated Irish Nationalist.1
