     Margaret Maria Ponsonby was born on 4 November 1857 at Portman Square, London, England. She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Spencer Cecil Ponsonby-Fane and Hon. Louisa Anne Rose Lee Dillon.¹ She married Rev. Hon. Arnald de Grey, son of Thomas de Grey, 5th Baron Walsingham and Hon. Emily Elizabeth Julia Thellusson, on 17 April 1882.¹ She died on 14 December 1935 at age 78.¹
