     Admiral Sir Hugh Palliser, 1st Bt. was born in 1722.2 He was the son of Hugh Palliser and Mary Robinson.1,3 He died on 19 March 1796, unmarried.4
     He held the office of Governor of Newfoundland between 1764 and 1766.2 He gained the rank of Admiral of the White.4 He was created 1st Baronet Palliser, of The Vatch, co. Bucks [Great Britain] on 6 August 1773.4 He held the office of a Lord of the Admiralty.4 He lived at The Vatch, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.4

     Denzill Ibbetson was the son of Sir Henry Ibbetson, 1st Bt. and Isabella Carr.1 He died on 2 February 1776, killed in a shooting party by the accidental discharge of his gun.1

     Alicia Mary Scott was the daughter of William Fenton Scott.1 She married Sir Henry Carr Ibbetson, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Ibbetson, 2nd Bt. and Jane Caygill, on 14 November 1803.1 She died in 1858.1
     From 14 November 1803, her married name became Ibbetson.1
