     Nora Henrietta Bews was the daughter of Captain John Bews.1 She married Field Marshal Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1st Earl Roberts, V.C., son of General Sir Abraham Roberts and Isabella Bunbury, on 17 May 1859.1 She died on 21 December 1920.1
     She was awarded the Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.)1 From 17 May 1859, her married name became Roberts.1 After her marriage, Nora Henrietta Bews was styled as Baroness Roberts on 20 February 1892. After her marriage, Nora Henrietta Bews was styled as Countess Roberts on 11 February 1901.

     Lieutenant Hon. Frederick Hugh Sherston Roberts, V.C. was born on 8 January 1872.1 He was the son of Field Marshal Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1st Earl Roberts, V.C. and Nora Henrietta Bews.1 He died on 17 December 1899 at age 27, from wounds received in action.1
     He fought in the Waziristan Expedition between 1894 and 1895, where he was mentioned i despatches.1 He fought in the Chitral Relif Force in 1895.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1899.1 He fought in the Battle of Colenso on 17 December 1899.1 He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) posthumously.1

     Aileen Mary Roberts, Countess Roberts was born on 20 September 1870.1 She was the daughter of Field Marshal Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1st Earl Roberts, V.C. and Nora Henrietta Bews.1 She died on 9 October 1944 at age 74, unmarried.1
     She succeeded as the 2nd Countess Roberts, of Kandahar in Afghanistan and Pretoria in the Transvaal Colony and of the City of Waterford [U.K., 1901] on 14 November 1914.1 She succeeded as the 2nd Viscountess St. Pierre [U.K., 1901] on 14 November 1914.1 She was chairman of the Lord Roberts memorial Workshops.1 She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1918.1

     Ada Edwina Stewart Roberts, Countess Roberts was born on 28 March 1875.1 She was the daughter of Field Marshal Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1st Earl Roberts, V.C. and Nora Henrietta Bews.1 She married Brig.-Gen. Henry Frederick Elliott Lewin, son of Commander Willm Herbert Lewin, on 26 February 1913.1 She died on 21 February 1955 at age 79.1
     From 26 February 1913, her married name became Lewin.1 She was the acting commandant between 1914 and 1919 at Ascot Auxiliary Military Hospital, EnglandG.1 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1 She succeeded as the 3rd Viscountess St. Pierre [U.K., 1901] on 9 October 1944.1 She succeeded as the 3rd Countess Roberts, of Kandahar in Afghanistan and Pretoria in the Transvaal Colony and of the City of Waterford [U.K., 1901] on 9 October 1944.1

Henry Frederick Elliott Lewin was the son of Commander Willm Herbert Lewin.1 He married Ada Edwina Stewart Roberts, Countess Roberts, daughter of Field Marshal Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1st Earl Roberts, V.C. and Nora Henrietta Bews, on 26 February 1913.1 He died on 1 December 1946.1
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Artillery.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1
