     Susan Royale Kennett was born on 10 March 1942.¹ She is the daughter of Commander Anthony Kennett and Patience Vera Plowden.² She married Richard Henry Persse, son of Brigadier Reginald Barry Lovaine Persse and Sheelah Patricia Batterby, on 3 May 1969 at Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England^G.^1,3
     From 3 May 1969, her married name became Persse.⁴
