Sir William Owen, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Arthur Owen, 3rd Bt. and Emma Williams.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Lloyd, daughter of Thomas Lloyd.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Williams, daughter of John Williams and Catherine Owen.1 He died on 7 May 1781.1
Sir William Owen, 4th Bt. held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Pembrokeshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Pembroke between 1722 and 1774.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Owen, of Orielton, co. Pembroke [E., 1641] on 6 June 1753.1
