Reginald William Clifford-Smith was the son of A. Clifford-Smith.2 He married Dorothy Nepean, daughter of Sir Evan Colville Nepean and Elizabeth Anne Jenner, on 25 October 1913.1 He died in September 1960.1

Colonel Herbert Augustus Tierney Nepean was born on 17 April 1839.1 He was the son of Rev. Canon Evan Nepean and Anne Fust.2 He married, firstly, Alice Bayley, daughter of Maj.-Gen. James Walker Bayley, on 10 November 1864.1 He and Alice Bayley were divorced in 1878.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Louisa Nisbett, daughter of John More Nisbett and Lady Agnes Dalrymple, on 9 August 1894.2 He died on 10 December 1924 at age 85.2

Brig.-Gen. Herbert Evan Charles Bayley Nepean was born on 10 October 1865.1 He was the son of Colonel Herbert Augustus Tierney Nepean and Alice Bayley.2 He married, firstly, Alice Maud Ross, daughter of Surgn.-Maj. Hamilton Ross, in 1892.1 He married, secondly, Muriel Faulkner, daughter of Reverend R. Butler Faulkner, in October 1950.2 He died on 28 March 1951 at age 85.2
He was Commandant of the 123rd Outram's Rifles, Indian Army.1 He was Temporary Brigadier-General and Brigade Commander of the Middle East Force between 1916 and 1921.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1917.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1919.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1921.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1922.1

Colonel Herbert Dryden Home Yorke Nepean was born on 27 November 1893.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Herbert Evan Charles Bayley Nepean and Alice Maud Ross.2 He married Edith Florence Woods, daughter of Edward Patrick Woods, on 21 April 1927.1 He died on 25 January 1956 at age 62, without issue.1
He was educated at Tonbridge School, Tonbridge, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He fought in the Afghan War in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 5th Royal Gurkha Rifles (FF) and 9th Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army.1 He was awarded the Royal Humane Society's Bronze Medal.1 He was Deputy Military Advisor-in-Chief to the Indian States Forces between 1942 and 1946.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1945.1
