Lt.-Col. Sidney Robert Gordon Kendall was the son of Surgn.-Gen. Henry Kendall.2 He married Constance Alice Leese, daughter of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves, on 11 September 1907.1 He died on 19 March 1959.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Indian Army.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1

Dorothy Violet Leese was born on 26 November 1883.1 She was the daughter of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves.2 She married Leonard Curtis Rawlence, son of James Edward Rawlence, on 11 April 1907.1 She died on 28 April 1942 at age 58.1
