Captain William Peake was born on 24 February 1780.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir Henry Peake and Sarah Ladd.1,2 He married Mary Wordsworth, daughter of Richard Wordsworth and Mary Scott.1 He died on 23 February 1813 at age 32, killed in action.1
