     Sir Isaac Holden, 1st Bt. was the son of Isaac Holden and Mary Forest.1 He married, firstly, Marion Love on 6 April 1832.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Sugden, daughter of John Sugden, on 5 April 1850.1 He died on 13 August 1897.1
     Sir Isaac Holden, 1st Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the West Riding of Yorkshire between 1882 and 1895.1 He was created 1st Baronet Holden, of Oakworth House, Keighley, co. Yorks [U.K.] on 1 July 1893.1
