Harold Hugh Hirst1

     Harold Hugh Hirst was born on 6 July 1893.1 He was the son of Hugo Hirst, 1st and last Baron Hirst and Leontine Hirsch.1 He married Carol Iris Lindon, daughter of Lewis Lindon, on 9 May 1917.1 He died on 24 February 1919 at age 25.1
     He fought in the First World War, attached to Royal Engineers Signals.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 21st Battalion, The Manchester Regiment.1

     Carol Iris Lindon was the daughter of Lewis Lindon.1 She married, firstly, Harold Hugh Hirst, son of Hugo Hirst, 1st and last Baron Hirst and Leontine Hirsch, on 9 May 1917.1 She married, secondly, Maurice Dreyfus in 1926.1 She and Maurice Dreyfus were divorced in 1938.1 She died on 20 March 1966.1
     From 9 May 1917, her married name became Hirst.1 From 1926, her married name became Dreyfus.1

     Hugh Harold Hirst was born on 11 June 1919.1 He was the son of Harold Hugh Hirst and Carol Iris Lindon.1 He died on 7 May 1941 at age 21, while on active service.1,2
     He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Hon. Pamela Muriel Dorine Hirst was born on 6 April 1918.1 She was the daughter of Harold Hugh Hirst and Carol Iris Lindon.1 She married, firstly, Captain A. G. B. Golyer in 1940.1 She and Captain A. G. B. Golyer were divorced.1 She married, secondly, R. E. Goodale in 1949.1 She died on 21 March 2004 at age 85.2
     She gained the rank of Junior Commander in the Auxiliary Territorial Service, during the Second World War.1 From 1940, her married name became Golyer.1 In June 1943 she was granted the rank of a baron's daughter.1 From 1949, her married name became Goodale.1

     Hon. Muriel Elsie Hirst was the daughter of Hugo Hirst, 1st and last Baron Hirst and Leontine Hirsch.1 She married Sir Leslie Carr Gamage, son of A. W. Gamage, on 21 July 1919.1 She died on 27 August 1969, killed in a car accident.1
     She was appointed Dame of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.J.St.J.)1 She was with the Voluntary Aid Detachment during the First World War.1 From 21 July 1919, her married name became Gamage.1
