      From 6 June 1893, her married name became Orde-Powlett.³

William George Algar Orde-Powlett, 5th Baron Bolton of Bolton Castle was born on 21 August 1869 at Bolton Hall, Yorkshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of William Thomas Orde-Powlett, 4th Baron Bolton of Bolton Castle and Lady Algitha Frederica Mary Lumley.² He married Hon. Elizabeth Mary Gibson, daughter of Edward Gibson, 1st Baron Ashbourne and Frances Maria Adelaide Colles, on 6 June 1893 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.^1,2 He died on 11 December 1944 at age 75.¹
     He was educated between 1883 and 1887 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Richmond between 1910 and 1918.³ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 4th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 5th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.² He fought in the First World War.² He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Bolton of Bolton Castle, co.
