     Thomas Estcourt was born on 27 September 1748.1 He was the son of Matthew Estcourt and Esther Halling.1 He married Hon. Jane Grimston, daughter of James Grimston, 2nd Viscount Grimston and Mary Bucknall, on 6 October 1774.1 He died on 2 December 1818 at age 70.1
     In 1750 he inherited the estates of Walter Estcourt.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cricklade.1

     Thomas Grimston Bucknall Bucknall-Estcourt was born on 3 August 1775.1 He was the son of Thomas Estcourt and Hon. Jane Grimston.1 He married Eleanor Sutton, daughter of James Sutton, on 12 May 1800.1 He died on 26 July 1853 at age 77.2
     He was given the name of Thomas Grimston Bucknall Estcourt at birth.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devizes between 1805 and 1826.1 In 1824 his name was legally changed to Thomas Grimston Bucknall Bucknall-Estcourt.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the University of Oxford.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1
