     John Crewe was the son of John Offley and Ann Crewe.1 He married Sarah Price, daughter of Morgan Price.1 He died in 1749.1
     John Crewe lived at Crewe Hall, Cheshire, England.1 He was baptised with the name of John Offley.1 On 1708 his name was legally changed to John Crewe by Act of Parliament.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire.1
