     Nicholas Radclyffe Assheton was born on 5 July 1870.1 He was the son of Ralph Assheton and Emily Augusta Feilden.2 He married Mary Nina Peel, daughter of William Peel and Meliora Sybella Phillpotts, on 15 April 1915.1 He died on 14 April 1960 at age 89 at Kearney Manor Nursing Home, Bishopsbourne, KEnt, EnglandG.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1

     Mary Nina Peel was baptised on 18 August 1877 at Warton, Carnforth, Lancashire, England.2 She was the daughter of William Peel and Meliora Sybella Phillpotts.3,4 She married Nicholas Radclyffe Assheton, son of Ralph Assheton and Emily Augusta Feilden, on 15 April 1915.1 She died on 10 March 1933 at age 55.1
     From 15 April 1915, her married name became Assheton.

     S/Ldr. William Radclyffe Assheton was born on 12 December 1917.1 He was the son of Nicholas Radclyffe Assheton and Mary Nina Peel.2 He married Lilian Dorothy Andrews on 20 July 1940.1 He died on 4 November 2009 at age 91 at Denia Hospital, SpainG.3
