Sir Thomas Clark, 3rd Bt. was born on 30 March 1886.1 He was the son of Sir John Maurice Clark, 2nd Bt. and Helen Marder Douglas.2 He married Ellen Mercy Drake, daughter of Francis Drake and Laura Moubray, on 18 June 1914.1 He died in 1977.1
He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Clark, of Melville Crescent, Edinburgh [U.K., 1886] on 27 May 1924.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1938 in the 7th Battalion, Royal Scots.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Forth Heavy Regiment Royal Artillery (Territorial Army), later 414 Coast Regiment Royal Artillery (Forth) (Territorial Army.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Edinburgh (F.R.S.E.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the County and City of Edinburgh in 1955.1
