     Thomas Edward Chitty was born in 1827.1 He was the son of Thomas Chitty and Eliza Cawston.2,1 He married Mary Ann Willes, daughter of Dr. James Willes, in 1854.1 He died on 4 May 1868.1
     He was married Mary Ann (died 1875), daughter of Dr James Willes, of Cork, and sister of Rt Honour Sir James Shaw Willes, Judge Court Common Pleas, and died 4 May 1868, with other issue: in 1854.1 He lived at 44 Blandford Square, London, EnglandG.1

Sir Thomas Willes Chitty, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Willes Chitty, 1st Bt. was born on 24 June 1855.1 He was the son of Thomas Edward Chitty and Mary Ann Willes.2,1 He married, firstly, Emily Eliza Newbolt, daughter of Reverend H. F. Newbolt, on 21 December 1888.1 He married, secondly, Beatrice Maud Hale, daughter of Reverend Edward Hale, on 1 September 1904.1 He died on 15 February 1930 at age 74.1
     He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1877 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was managing editor of Lord Halsbury's Laws of England.1 He was editor-in-chief of the English and Empire Digest.1 He held the office of Master of the Supreme Court between 1901 and 1920.1 He was appointed Knight in 1919.1 He was created 1st Baronet Chitty, of the Temple [U.K.] on 25 January 1924.1 He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple in 1925.1 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1927.1

Reverend James Charles Martin Chitty1

     Reverend James Charles Martin Chitty was born on 28 March 1865.1 He was the son of Thomas Edward Chitty and Mary Ann Willes.2,1 He married Gwen Ethlin Georgiana Jones in 1890.1 He died on 7 January 1938 at age 72.1
     He graduated from Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Rector between 1899 and 1920 at Hanwood, Shropshire, EnglandG.1 He was Rural Dean of Pontesbury between 1916 and 1923.1 He was the Rector between 1920 and 1938 at Yockleton, Shropshire, EnglandG.1

     Reverend John Heighway Chitty was born on 19 September 1898.1 He was the son of Reverend James Charles Martin Chitty and Gwen Ethlin Georgiana Jones.2,1 He married Phyllis Margaret Stevens, daughter of H. G. Stevens, on 14 February 1927.1 He died on 18 August 1977 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1926.1 He graduated in 1930 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)1 He was a Deacon in 1959.1 He was a Priest in 1960.1 He was the Assistant Curate between 1960 and 1963 at St. Dogfan's, Llanrhaaidr, WalesG.1 He was a medical missionary between 1963 and 1977 at South AfricaG.1
