     Thomas Edward Chitty was born in 1827.1 He was the son of Thomas Chitty and Eliza Cawston.2,1 He married Mary Ann Willes, daughter of Dr. James Willes, in 1854.1 He died on 4 May 1868.1
     Thomas Edward Chitty was married Mary Ann (died 1875), daughter of Dr James Willes, of Cork, and sister of Rt Honour Sir James Shaw Willes, Judge Court Common Pleas, and died 4 May 1868, with other issue: in 1854.1 He lived at 44 Blandford Square, London, England.1

     Sir Thomas Willes Chitty, 1st Bt. was born on 24 June 1855.1 He was the son of Thomas Edward Chitty and Mary Ann Willes.2,1 He married, firstly, Emily Eliza Newbolt, daughter of Reverend H. F. Newbolt, on 21 December 1888.1 He married, secondly, Beatrice Maud Hale, daughter of Reverend Edward Hale, on 1 September 1904.1 He died on 15 February 1930 at age 74.1
     Sir Thomas Willes Chitty, 1st Bt. was admitted to Inner Temple in 1877 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 On 21 December 1888 married 1st Emily Eliza (died 17 Aug 1903), daughter of Rev H F Newbolt, of Bilston.1 He was managing editor of Lord Halsbury's Laws of England.1 He was editor-in-chief of the English and Empire Digest.1 He held the office of Master of the Supreme Court between 1901 and 1920.1 On 1 September 1904 married 2nd Beatrice Maud (died 19 March 1937), daughter of Rev Edward Hale, of Eton College, and by his 1st wife had.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1919.1 He was created 1st Baronet Chitty, of the Temple [U.K.] on 25 January 1924.1 He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple in 1925.1 He was invested as a King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1927.1

     Reverend James Charles Martin Chitty was born on 28 March 1865.1 He was the son of Thomas Edward Chitty and Mary Ann Willes.2,1 He married Gwen Ethlin Georgiana Jones in 1890.1 He died on 7 January 1938 at age 72.1
