     Wolfgang Friedrich zu Salm-Dhaun was born circa 1589.1 He was the son of Adolf Heinrich Graf zu Salm-Dhaun and Juliana Gräfin von Nassau-Dillenburg.1 He married Elisabeth zu Solms-Braunfels, daughter of Johann Albrecht I Graf zu Solms-Braunfels and Agnes von Sayn-Wittgenstein, in 1619.1 He died on 24 December 1638.1
