Samuel Richard Bosanquet was born on 1 April 1800.1 He was the son of Samuel Bosanquet and Letitia Philippa Whatman.1 He married Emily Courthope, daughter of George Courthope and Amelia Campion, on 4 February 1830 at Saint Michael, Lewes, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He died on 27 December 1882 at age 82 at Dingestow Court, Monmouthshire, Wales.1,2
He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1822 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1829 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He wrote the book New System of Logic and Development of the Principles of Truth and Reasoning applicable to moral subjects and the conduct of human life, published 1839.2 He wrote the book The Rights of the Poor and Christian Almsgiving vindicated, or the State and Character of the Poor and the Conduct and Duties of the Rich exhibited and illustrated, published 1841.2
