     Lt.-Col. Arthur Mordaunt Murray was born on 20 January 1852.1 He was the son of Reverend George Edward Murray and Penelope Frances Elizabeth Pemberton Austin.1 He married, firstly, Isabel Pemberton, daughter of Richard Laurence Pemberton, on 15 January 1895.1 He married, secondly, Mabel Meliora Nicholson, daughter of Frederick Francis Nicholson, on 18 October 1898.1 He died on 23 May 1920 at age 68.1
     Lt.-Col. Arthur Mordaunt Murray gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was Assistant-Commandant of the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich between 1900 and 1904.1 He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was Commandant of the Duke of York's Royal Marine School between 1907 and 1909.1 He was invested as a Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1908.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1909.1 He fought in the campaigns in Afghanistan.1

     Reverend Douglas Stuart Murray was born on 28 May 1853.1 He was the son of Reverend George Edward Murray and Penelope Frances Elizabeth Pemberton Austin.1 He married Harriet Georgina Isabel Bridgeman, daughter of Rev. Hon. George Thomas Orlando Bridgeman and Emily Mary Bagot, on 22 April 1879.1 He died on 19 March 1920 at age 66.1
     Reverend Douglas Stuart Murray graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector between 1879 and 1919 at Blithfield, Staffordshire, England.1
