     Roger Erskine Longrigg was the son of Brigadier Stephen Hemsley Longrigg.² He married Jane Catherine Chichester, daughter of Marcus Beresford Chichester and Myra Brownrigg Jay, on 20 July 1957.¹ He died on 26 February 2000.¹

     Catherina Edina Chichester was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Chichester, 9th Bt. and Catharina Emma Whyte.² She married Major Charles Venables Beresford, son of Cecil Hugh Wriothesley Beresford, on 27 June 1905.¹ She died on 18 April 1968, leaving issue.¹
      From 27 June 1905, her married name became Beresford.

     Cecil Hugh Wriothesley Beresford was a judge.¹
