     Lieutenant Frederick George Gore was born on 26 July 1870.1 He was the son of Major James Arthur Charles Gore and Catherine Louise Bazalgette.1 He died at South AfricaG.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1900 in the Thorneycroft's Mounted Infantry.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900, where he won medals with clasps.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the West Kent (Queen's Own) Yeomanry.1 He fought in the campaign in South West Africa in 1915.1

     Staveley Napier Gore was born on 15 November 1875.1 He was the son of Major James Arthur Charles Gore and Catherine Louise Bazalgette.1 He married Isabelle Margaret Frith, daughter of Philip Frith, on 30 November 1916.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Oxford Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 24th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Matabele War.1 He fought in the Zulu campaign. He fought in the Boer War. He fought in the First World War, in South-West Africa and France, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches.1
