Sir John Chichester, 1st Bt. was born on 23 April 1623.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Chichester and Ursula Hill.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Rayney, daughter of Sir John Rayney, 1st Bt. and Catharine Style.1 He married, secondly, Mary Colley, daughter of Theodore Colley, on 18 July 1655 at St. Anne's Church, Blackfriars, London, England.3 He died in 1667.1
