     From 16 April 1896, her married name became Fremantle.¹ As a result of her marriage, Frances Tapling was styled as Baroness Cottesloe on 13 April 1918.

     Hon. Christopher Evelyn Fremantle was born in 1906.¹ He was born in 1906.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Thomas Francis Fremantle, 3rd Baron Cottesloe and Frances Tapling.¹ He married Anne Marie Jackson, daughter of Rt. Hon. Frederick Huth Jackson, on 12 November 1930.¹ He died in 1979.¹
