     Sir George Chalmers, 4th Bt. was born at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Sir George Chalmers, 3rd Bt.1 He married Isabella Alexander, daughter of John Alexander, on 4 June 1708 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He died circa November 1791 at Marylebone, London, EnglandG, without surviving male issue.1 He was buried on 15 November 1791 at St. Pancras, London, EnglandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his daughter, Isabella on 14 May 1792, at under £300.1
     He was styled as 4th Baronet Chalmers, of Cults, in the parish of Tarland, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1664] circa 1764.1 He was a portrait painter, exhibiting at the Royal Academy between 1775 and 1790.1

     Isabella Alexander was the daughter of John Alexander.1 She married Sir George Chalmers, 4th Bt., son of Sir George Chalmers, 3rd Bt., on 4 June 1708 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 She died circa April 1784.1 She was buried on 16 April 1784 at St. Pancras, London, EnglandG.1
     From 4 June 1708, her married name became Chalmers.1

     Sir Robert Chalmers, 5th Bt. was born in 1749.1 He was the son of John Chalmers and Laetitia Hall.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Gardiner, daughter of John Gardiner.1 He married, firstly, Mary Boon, daughter of William Boon, before 1779 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He died in 1807 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was buried at Portsea, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
     He was styled as 5th Baronet Chalmers, of Cults, in the parish of Tarland, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1664] in November 1791.1 He was commander of the the Alexander Lazaretto, stationed at the Motherbank.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Marines.1
