     She gained the title of Comtesse de Caraman. She gained the title of Princesse Louise de Chimay.¹ From 10 July 1956, her married name became Seymour. As a result of her marriage, Pamela Térèse Louise de Chimay, Princesse de Chimay was styled as Marchioness of Hertford on 10 July 1956.

     Hugh Edward Conway Seymour, 8th Marquess of Hertford was born on 29 March 1930.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Lord Henry Charles Seymour and Lady Helen Frances Grosvenor.¹ He married Pamela Térèse Louise de Chimay, Princesse de Chimay, daughter of Lt.-Col. Alphonse de Chimay, Prince de Chimay and Mary Brenda Hamilton, on 10 July 1956 at St. James's, Piccadilly, London, England.³ He died on 22 December 1997 at age 67.¹
